Scott Healey is the Ontario PC Party’s candidate for Ottawa Centre in the upcoming 2025 provincial election. With a distinguished 40-year career in the Royal Canadian Navy, Scott served as a naval warfare officer, including two command tours at sea and a 10-month deployment in Afghanistan. His extensive military service underscores his unwavering commitment to safeguarding Ontario and its communities.
Beyond his military career, Scott is deeply involved in his community. He serves as a Director on the Friends of the Canadian War Museum and is the President of HMCS Bytown Inc., reflecting his dedication to preserving Canada’s rich naval heritage. Scott is also the national fundraising director for the Order of St. George, supporting veterans and interpreters of the war in Afghanistan.
Scott’s political journey began with active participation in the 1981 Ontario provincial election, supporting the late Premier Bill Davis. He holds a degree in History from York University and resides in Ottawa with his life-long partner, Ellen. Scott’s blend of military service, community involvement, and political engagement positions him as a steadfast advocate for the safety and prosperity of Ottawa Centre and its residents.
